McGovern, Hopkinton's Congressman, Promotes Staff

U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern, whose 3^rd Congressional district (see map) includes Hopkinton, last month made two key staff changes.

McGovern named Kathleen Polanowicz the director of operations and staff in his four district offices (Worcester, Marlborough, Attleborough and Fall River) and Scott Zoback as his district media director.

Polanowicz, an attorney, is former chairwoman of the Northborough Selectmen, the current chairwoman of the Northborough Housing Authority and a member of the Northborough Community Preservation Committee.  She lives in Northborough with her husband John and their two children. 

Scott Zoback of Worcester is McGovern’s new District Press Secretary and New Media Director. 

Zoback is a graduate of Clark University and was director of new media during McGovern’s most recent re-election campaign. Zoback was formerly communications director for Mass. state Sen. Harriette Chandler of Worcester. 

“I couldn’t be happier to have Kathleen and Scott playing key roles on my team,” McGovern said.
