In tomorrow's MBPH class, we will cover mindfulness of the five aggregates of clinging. These are: physical sensations, feelings, moods, intentions, and cognition. Mindfulness of these aggregates allows us to see that these are transient phenomena and helps us cut through the illusion of a 'self' that arises from attachment to these aggregates, and which leads to a lot of stress in our lives. We will cover both theory and practice of mindfulness on these aggregates, as taught in Buddha's discourse on the Foundations of Mindfulness.
The MBPH class is held at SOHUM Yoga and Meditation Studio every Thursday from 7:15-8:15 pm. For more information, and to register for this class, please visit www.sohum.org.
