Frederick B. Darney, 74, died July 11. The Hopkinton resident was born in Milford and was a graduate of St. Mary’s Class of 1955. Upon graduating from Holy Cross he joined the Air Force. He about serving in Germany during the Berlin crisis. He is survived by his wife Sandra, two children, and five grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, July 17th at 11 a.m., at Committal services will take place on Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. in Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Hopkinton Seniors, 28 Mayhew St. Hopkinton, MA. 01748.
