Join us on Friday, October 16th at 7pm for the 18th annual Holliston Historical Society Oktoberfest celebration. Our 1815 barn is the perfect venue for this festive occasion. Members of the Society volunteer with the setup, cooking, serving, decorations and clean up. Come and meet them as well as your neighbors and friends. As is the tradition for this event, the featured entertainment is the Double Eagle Oktoberfest Band. This lively band has performed all over the East Coast and Canada and will get you laughing, singing and dancing a polka before the evening is done. New this year: a selection of craft and imported beers and ales will be provided by Crafted. In addition to large, soft pretzels, we serve a meal of premium knockwurst, rye bread, German potato salad and pickled red cabbage. After the meal enjoy coffee, tea and homemade apple crisp with whipped cream for dessert. Vegetarians can request kasespatzle in place of the knockwurst when purchasing their ticket. There will also be drawings for prizes at this popular Society fundraiser. All of this at a cost of only $22. After the October 9, 2015 deadline any remaining tickets will be $25. Oktoberfest is always a sell-out and space is limited. We need to have your check by October 9, 2015 so we can have an accurate count for the food and beverages.
