Police Log: Ding Dong Ditch, Possible Identity Theft

Wednesday, March 5

1:51 a.m.: A resident of Rocky Woods Road reported that someone might have rung her doorbell. She didn’t see anyone but requested an officer to check the area.

8:03 a.m.: A caller reported that a man was slumped over in his vehicle on Main Street. The caller said the man might have been asleep, but he was partially blocking the roadway. When an officer checked the area the person was gone.

9:02 a.m.: An officer came upon a car that had run out of gas on South Street. The officer gave the operator a courtesy ride to the gas station.

9:25 a.m.: A person walked in to the station and spoke with an officer about possible identity theft.

6:44 p.m.: An officer spoke to a person about a fraud on Ralph Road and took a report.
