Police Log: Identity Fraud Arrest

Tuesday, Feb. 28

12:07 a.m.: A checked a car parked on West Elm Street.

12:24 a.m.: An officer checked a car parked on South Street.

1:02 a.m.: An officer stopped a car Main Street for speeding. Francis Manuel Ordonez, 28, of 1 Naples St. Framingham, was arrested and charged with identity fraud, providing a false statement to obtain a credit card, forgery / misuse of a RMV document, refusal to self identify, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and speeding.

12:53 p.m.: A caller from Leonard Street reported a break-in while he was away. An officer responded and spoke to the man.

3:34 p.m.: A caller from Hayward Street reported that he gave a deposit to a contractor but that the contractor has not come to start work. An officer took a report.

5:46 p.m.: A caller from Ash Street reported that her smoke alarm was going off. responded.

8:59 p.m.: A caller from East Main Street reported that she and several other people were being harassed by a person known to them. An officer spoke with the caller.

9:34 p.m.: A 911 caller reported an erratic driver tailgating and flashing their high beams on Robbern Road. An officer caught up to the vehicle and spoke to the operator.

11:56 p.m.: An officer assisted the Ashland Police Department with a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street.
