Police Log: Lawn Forked, Vehicle Egged

Wednesday, Feb. 22
11:46 a.m.: The assisted the Ashland Police Department with attempting to notify someone on Oakhurst Road. The person was not home.
2:39 p.m.: An officer noticed exterior damage on Thayer Heights that was likely the result of a breaking and entering.

3:14 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a motorcycle was doing “burnouts and wheelies” up and down Hayward Street. When an officer arrived the person on the motorcycle was not found.
5:10 p.m.: An officer took a report of larceny from Fruit Street.

6:40 p.m.: A caller reported getting a strange computer message about her house on Leonard Street. Officers responded and found that the message had ben written by one of he children.
7:31 p.m.: A caller reported teenage females lying in the roadway on Winter Street possibly playing chicken. When an officer arrived they were gone.
9:47 p.m.: An officer checked a motor vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street and sent the occupants on their way.
11:34 p.m.: A caller from Jordan road reported they when they arrived home from vacation plastic forks had been inserted into their lawn. The caller did not notice anything else out of the ordinary.
11:37 p.m.: A caller from Lilac Court reported that two of their vehicles’ tires had been slashed.
11:41 p.m.: A vehicle was egged on Hayden Rowe Street. No other damage was observed.
