Police Log: Lost Elderly Woman, Defective Household Product

Tuesday, April 3
3:04 a.m.: A caller from Norcross Road reported that their basement was full of smoke.
3:21 a.m.: A caller from South Mill Street reported being awoken by a crashing sound somewhere in her house. Officers checked the house and determined it to be a defective household product.

6:56 a.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on West Main Street.
9:00 a.m.: A person from Blueberry Lane called the to reported a domestic assault and battery. Officers responded and checked the area but the person in question was not found. The reporting person said they would call back if the other person returned.

11:12 a.m.: A caller reported an elderly woman walking down Church Street asking for a ride to Westborough. Officers located the woman and returned her home.
6:24 p.m. An officer assisted the with a wire down on Wilson Street.
7:21 p.m.: A person walked in to speak to an officer about three of his company chainsaws being stolen from Lumber Street.
7:59 p.m.: An officer came upon sheet rock in the road on South Street. The DPW was notified because a front end loader was needed to clean it up. The officer stood by until the DPW arrived.
9:02 p.m.: An officer checked a motor vehicle on West Main Street. It belonged to several students who were doing a project.
