Police Log: Missing Dog, Dangerous Scooter

Friday, June 8
7:54 a.m.: Holliston police officers responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of Washington and Hollis Streets. No injuries were reported.
9:00 a.m.: A caller from Locust Street reported a yellow lab had been at her house for most of the day. The person tried to call the owner as listed on the tags but the number was not accurate.

Saturday, June 9
2:41 a.m.: An officer checked a report of a scooter on Washington Street that did not have a taillight. The officer transported the scooter driver to the Natick town line.

9:07 a.m.: An officer found a bb gun pistol on the side of Brook Street.
9:29 a.m.: A 911 caller reported a loose horse on Concord Street. The horse was secured and the main gate was secured.
10:44 a.m.: A caller reported a loose husky on Washingon Street. Animal Control picked up the dog. The owners called and responded to retrieve the dog.
1:15 a.m.: A caller from Ruthellen Road reported youths throwing and dumping children’s toys in to the woods. No cruisers were available to respond because they were at a medical call but the items were returned to the owner.
7:21 p.m.: A person reported youths skateboarding in the area of Hollis Street. An officer advised them to leave the area.
9:23 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of a large party on Webster Drive. The officer had the people at the party quiet down.
Sunday, June 10
12:32 a.m.: A caller from Alden Road reported that their mailbox had been smashed.
6:54 a.m.: A person from South Street reported a vehicle on the side of South Street that appeared to have hit several mailboxes. The Medway Police Department was contacted to get in touch with the vehicle’s owner.
1:35 p.m.: A caller from Overlook Drive reported a white snoodle dog Dempsey had been missing since 11:30. Dempsey has since been found.
