Police Log: Narcotics Violation in the Schools

Wednesday, March 28
12:02 a.m.: An officer was flagged down on Walcott Valley Drive and received a report of a suspicious person in a red hoodie. The officer searched the area near Hopkinton Drug. Unrelated but at the same time an officer gave a person on Walcott Valley Drive a verbal warning for possession of marijuana.
12:19 a.m.: A caller reported a vehicle off the rod on Front Street. An officer located the vehicle, which was off the road due to operator error. The vehicle didn’t make any contact with any other property or objects.

9:39 a.m.: A caller from Wood Street reported that she was unable to locate her 4-year-old granddaughter. The child had long dark hair and was wearing pajamas. When an officer arrived the child was found inside the house.
11:51 a.m.: A caller reported several cars blocking the exit from a Main Street location. An officer checked the area but there were no violations.

1:03 p.m.: An officer spoke to the operator of a disabled vehicle who had a flat tire and was waiting for AAA.
1:33 p.m.: The School Resource Officer filed a complaint application for two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.
5:30 p.m.: An officer checked on a person who was hitch hiking and stumbling on East Main Street. The officer transported the person to his brother’s house.
8:13 p.m.: An person walked in to to speak to an officer about a past hit and run.
