Police Log: One Arrest, Loose Bull

Monday, March 5
12:22 a.m.: A checked a motor vehicle on South Street. The operator was parked and taking a nap before work.
3:38 a.m.: A caller from Hillcrest Drive reported that her neighbor’s car had slid out of the driveway and was blocking the road. An officer contacted the owner of the car and had them move it.

9:08 a.m.: The School Resource Officer reported a domestic incident.
9:36 a.m.: A caller from Forrest Lane reported a suspicious vehicle parked in several areas around the neighborhood over the past few hours. An officer responded and spoke with the operator.

10:38 a.m.: A worker from the DPW reported that a bull was loose on Wood Street. When an officer responded the bull was back in its pen.
11:05 a.m.: An officer came upon a disabled motor vehicle that was out of gas on West Main Street. The operator had walked to get a container of gas.
11:44 a.m.: An officer came upon a disabled motor vehicle on Robbern Road. AAA was already on the way to assist the operator.
12:46 p.m.: An officer assisted the with the removal of a tree limb from South Street.
4:00 p.m.: The Milford Police Department reported a crash on South Street. The vehicle was towed and an officer gave driver a courtesy transport home.
5:10 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on route 495 and arrested Michael James Daly, 45, of 14 Willow St., Wakefield. Daly was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and eventually released.
5:25 p.m.: A caller from Davis Road reported hat her smoke alarm is going off. responded.
5:28 p.m.: A caller from Ursula Drive reported the smell of natural gas. The Fire Department responded.
