Police Log: Speeding Citations, Medical Emergencies and Bumps in the Night
Another deer struck and killed, this time on Central Street.

Wednesday, Nov. 24
1:09 a.m.: Patrolman Bryan DiGiorgio responded to a call of suspicious activity on Central Street. Caller reported a contractor at the house across the street, which was vacant and for sale. Officer checked and spoke with contractor. NStar was fixing a low-hanging wire.
2:39 a.m.: Sgt. George Leurini and Patrolman Bryan DiGiorgio responded to a call about a disturbance on Pilgrim Road. Caller heard a loud bang in the cellar and believes his alarm may have been tripped. Officers checked and spoke with resident, house found to be secure.

6:22 a.m.: Patrolman Bryan DiGiorgio responded to a phone request to assist another agency. Sherborn Police Department was requesting a cruiser to divert all eastbound traffic on Washington Street up Western Ave.
10:18 a.m.: Patrolmen Scott Downey and John Moore responded to a medical emergency on Travis Road. A 59-year-old man had fallen approximately eight feet from a ladder. Patient transported to the hospital.

10:38 a.m.: Patrolmen John Moore and John Scanlon responded to a 911 medical emergency at Timothy Daniels House (84 Elm Street). Patient was having chest pains and was transported to the hospital.
11:02 a.m.: Patrolmen Scott Downey and John Scanlon responded to a 911 medical emergency on Orchard Lane. Patient was having trouble breathing and was transported to the hospital.
1:32 p.m.: Patrolmen John Moore, David Gatchell and Scott Downey responded to a report of a group of youths having a fight at . The kids say they were fooling around and apologized to calling party.
2:45 p.m.: Patrolman Scott Downey responded to a medical emergency on Dorset Road. Calling party reported her grandfather was not feeling well. Patient transported to the hospital.
4:44 p.m.: Sgt. Craig Denman and Patrolman Todd Hagan responded to a call of motorist who had hit a deer on Central Street. Animal was deceased upon arrival and a Charles Street resident agreed to remove dead animal.
5:02 p.m.: Sgt. Craig Denman initiated a motor vehicle stop of a grey 2008 Toyota Sienna at (370 Hollis Street). Citation issued for speeding.
5:38 p.m.: Sgt. Craig Denman initiated a motor vehicle stop of a grey 2009 Pontiac G5 at 59 Hollis Street. Citation isssued for speeding.
10:37 p.m.: Sgt. Craig Denman initiated a motor vehicle stop of a black 2000 Volkswagen Passat at the intersection of Central Street and Donna Road. Citation issued for speeding.
11:47 p.m.: Sgt. Craig Denman and Patrolmen Matthew Waugh and Chad Thomspon initiated a well-being check on Washington Street. Caller was claiming he was having psychological issues. was notified and a voluntary section 12. Caller was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
Thursday, Nov. 25
12:47 a.m.: Sgt. George Leurini initiated a motor vehicle stop of a red 2009 Honda Accord at 216 Hollist Street. Citation issued.
3:25 a.m.: Sgt. George Leurini initiated a motor vehicle stop of a red 1991 Honda Accord at (441 Washington Street). Matthew Waugh also responded. Operator summonsed for unlicensed operation of motor vehicle and speeding.
8:37 a.m.: Patrolmen Scott Downey and Andrew MacGray responded to a report of a family problem on Mechanic Street. Caller stated that her juvenile son was out of control. Incident investigated.
11:01 a.m.: Patrolman Andrew MacGray responded to a caller's second complaint of a group of men skeet shooting behind her property. Caller had complained before, asking that officers check on the shooting and ask group to stop. MacGray observed no violations and advised caller that since group was in compliance, her could not force them to stop.
4:39 p.m.: Patrolman Ken Belson responded to a 911 medical emergency on Holly Lane. A 72-year-old female had collapsed. Patient transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Natick.
