Police Log: St. Paddy's Day Arrest, Chickens on the Loose

Saturday, March 17
1:19 a.m.: An officer checked a person who was out for a walk on West Elm Street.
1:24 a.m.: An officer checked a vehicle parked on Rafferty Road.

1:46 a.m.: An officer checked a truck with it’s lights on on Main Street. The officer was unable to gain access and shut them off.
12:14 p.m.: An officer performed community policing on Hayden Rowe Street.

1:54 p.m.: A caller from Wood Street reported that his neighbor’s chickens were in his yard.
11:39 p.m.: The Milford Police Department asked the to be on the lookout for a black Jeep registered to a Hopkinton residence. The vehicle was seen passing vehicles on Main Street and reportedly made contact with one vehicle. A HPD officer contacted the driver’s father and asked him to have his son report to the Milford station.
11:44 p.m.: Police arrested Kristin P. Alpert, 50, of 44 Sweetgrass Ln. Holliston, and charged her with speeding, drunken-driving and a marked lanes violation.
Sunday, March 18
1:47 a.m.: A motorist reported the smell of smoke on Ash Street near South Mill Street. An officer determined that a wood stove likely caused it.
9:14 a.m.: Officers received a report of a Ryder truck possibly leaking fuel on Wilson Street. treated the leak and the operator moved the truck to level ground.
9:40 a.m.: Officers returned an abandoned 911 call. The spoke to a 7-year-old who said her parents were yelling at each other a lot.
4:48 p.m.: A caller reported an ongoing complaint of loud noise coming from a house on Saddle Hill Road. Officers responded and the people involved said they would keep it down.
5:10 p.m.: A caller reported a loose golden retriever running around the Spring Street area. was notified.
5:55 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a car fire on the Mass. Pike. The state police responded to the fire.
7:02 p.m.: A caller from Wood Street reported that their neighbor was burning something that created a lot of smoke. The Fire Department responded.
9:00 p.m.: An officer checked a person who worked at a West Main Street business. The person was leaving for the night.
11:33 p.m.: An officer checked a vehicle on West Main Street. The operator was using their cell phone.
