Police Seeking Public's Help in Investigating Recent Rash of Break-Ins
HPD sent a notice to residents Friday asking Holliston residents to report suspicious activity in light of slight surge in property crimes.

On Friday afternoon, Town Administrator Paul LeBeau and the Holliston Police Department sent the following e-mail to Holliston residents regarding a recent increase in break-ins around town:
The , in cooperation with other local police departments, is requesting assistance from residents, relative the investigation of a recent surge in house breaks that have occurred in these communities.
These breaks have occurred both in the daytime and the early evening hours. In all but one of the cases, the homes were unoccupied at the time of the break.

Though the breaks in Holliston have been far less numerous and scattered across the town, it still represents an unusually high number. While there is no reason to alter your daily routines, we are asking for your assistance.
You possess the best knowledge of what is and what is not ordinary activity in your neighborhood. We are asking residents to immediately report any activity that appears out of the ordinary to the Holliston Police Department at 508-429-1212.
