Updated: Man Who Fled Traffic Stop Arrested Today

Hopkinton and Massachusetts State Police spent several hours on Sunday looking for a suspect who fled the scene of a motor vehicle stop.

Update: According to an email from the Hopkinton Police Department, Gonzalez was arrested on Monday, March 12, one day after he escaped in to the woods near West Main Street.

Early this afternoon Massachusetts State Trooper Peter Frothingham attempted to stop a motor vehicle near exit 21 on route 495 in Hopkinton.

According to the state police, the motor vehicle was beileved to have been operated by Kevin Gonzalez who fled the scene in to the woods where state and Hopkinton police officers spent several hours looking for him.

At this time Gonzalez is still at large but he is not considered to be any type of a danger to the public.

There will be warrants issued for Gonzalez whose description and address were not available.
