Friends Pledge $15,000 for the

Renovation and Expansion of Hopkinton Public Library

Fundraising for the Library received yet another exciting boost from the Friends of the Hopkinton Public Library prior to the Library funding vote at the May 5 Town Meeting and the May 19 Town Election.  The Friends have pledged to give $15,000 over the next three years to renovate and expand the Library, in addition to their $5,000 gift and naming of the Staff Room.  With this generous pledge, the Friends have donated $20,000 to the renovation and expansion project.  Along with recent 1000 Homes for Hopkinton Library pledges, Hopkinton Public Library Foundation has raised $475,000 in total for the new Library.

In recognition of their $15,000 pledge, the Café and Lounge area in the new Library will be named for the Friends.
