Rough Loss for Hopkinton at Foxborough Tourney
Sousa has terrific first half. Doucette knocked out of game. Hillers cold from the floor.
Despite great play by Hopkinton senior guard Katie Sousa, Hopkinton lost to Foxborough High Monday night, 40-32, in the Warrior Winter Classic.
Sousa hit several clutch three-pointers in the first half of the game.
The game turned rough in the second half after Foxborough sophomore Ally Perry received a technical foul for taking a swat at Hopkinton's Alee Leteria while going after a jump ball. The call upset Foxborough coach Sara Behn but stood.

Perry later elbowed Hopkinton junior forward Lindsey Doucette in the face and forced Doucette from the game. Coach Rita Atkinson said Doucette is OK.
Hopkinton's poor shooting down the stretch and Foxborough senior Kayleen Whall's play off the bench in the second half seemed to make the difference.
