Selectmen to Appoint Search Committee for Lieutenant

The Board of Selectmen will make appointments to several committees when they meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall. 

Among the board's action items are apopointments to the committee screening candidates for the vacant police department lieutenant position. The board also has appointments for constable and the cable access committe on its plate. 

Also up for discussion will be a proposal from Police Chief John Moore to add K9 capabilities to the department. 

Other agenda items inlcude a final recap of the town's response to Tropical Storm Irene, event permits for the Walk Against Cancer and Cycle for Life and proclamations for the .
