Senate Hopeful, Tom Conroy(D-Wayland), Walks 600 Miles
Hoping to be the voice of the people, Senate hopeful Tom Conroy (D-Wayland) is taking on a two-month walk.
Walking for the people is Senate hopeful Tom Conroy's (D), summer plan.
"Tom launched his bid for the U.S. Senate on June second," reads a press release. "He is now in the midst of a 600-mile town to town walk across the Commonwealth in his quest to become the voice of the people."
Conroy came through Hopkinton on Friday and stopped for lunch at .

"Tom is undertaking this two-month walk to engage people from all walks of life and listen to their day to day challenges," said Media Consultant, Deb Driskell. "His primary focus is the economy and jobs."
His walk began on July 2 and is expected to end in early September.

Along his route, Tom has participated in community service projects as a way to give back.
While in Hopkinton, Conroy past the 300 mile mark; the halfway point for his trek. He is now off on the next leg of his journey heading towards Natick.
