Send Us Your Prom Pictures

With the possible exception of graduation, there are few occasions more conducive to taking pictures than the prom.

Parents, your daughters will look beautiful in their gowns and your sons will be handsome in their tuxedos. They're all grown up. Where did the time go?

Without a deep discussion of metaphysics, Patch can't answer that question for you. But what we can do is document the evening, from the eager anticipation of the limo's arrival to the crowning of the king and queen.

Patch ran , but and we'd like to do something similar for the Senior Prom, which will be held at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge starting at 6 p.m.

Since the logistics of getting a photographer to Cambridge on a Friday night are difficult at best, we're asking our readers for some help. Whether you're piling into the stretch Lincoln Navigator (that'll run you about $850 for six hours minimum, by the way), cutting a rug on the dance floor or enjoying a breathtaking view of the Charles River, send in your best prom photos.

And the more original, the better. Boys, did you go old school with a top hat, monocle, white gloves and tails on the tux jacket like the guy on the Upper Crust pizza boxes (or Mr. Peanut)? Or did you somehow find one of those blue or orange pastel tuxes like in the original Dumb and Dumber?

And what about you girls? There's no way you're going let the gentlemen outdress you is there?
