Shen's Academy Excels At State Competition
Three gymnasts won state titles at the USA Gymnastics Level 5 and 6 State Competition in early March.

Gymnasts from competed in the USA Gymnastics Level 5 and 6 State Competition at Mt. Holyoke Community College on March 5 and 6.
Abby Bryant of Medway won the All Around Level 6 state championship in the Age 9 Division with a score of 37.825. Bryant also claimed first place on vault and second place on bars, beam and floor. Also in this age division, Lucy Hebert of Hopkinton placed eighth on floor.
Meanwhile, Lisa Johnson of Milford won Level 6 beam competition in the 13-plus age division. She also placed fifth in the floor exercise and was fifth in the all-around standings.

In the Level 6 age 7-8 division, Marigold Garrett of Sherborn placed sixth on bars and eighth on beam, while Isabella Garrett of Sherborn placed eighth on bars.
Eleven-year-old Makayla D’Amore of Medfield was also a qualifier in the Level 6 competition.

In the Level 5 competition, Danirose Billings of Hopedale became the bars state champion in the 11-year old division, scoring a 9.425. She also placed sixth on beam and took the seventh place title in the all-around.
Lauren Pearl of Milford earned fourth place in the all around for the 7-year old division, taking third place on bars and vault.
Eight-year-old Hopkinton resident Julianna Lucas also earned a medal, placing sixth on vault, eighth on bars and beam and seventh in the all-around.
Emma Stearns, 9, of Medway, placed fourth on bars and Payton Ahola, 9, of Sherborn, took eighth on vault.
Gabriella Mills of North Attleboro, came in eighth in the floor exercise in the 10-year old division.
