Sound & Spirit, Natick's own multi-generational chorus,
is performing a concert centered on the theme of "light" at 3pm on
Sunday, January 19th at Natick High School. “Go Light Your World” borrowed its
inspiration from James Taylor’s “Shed a Little Light,” a song that honors Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr.—just in time for the holiday named for him. The
performance is a fun ride from beginning to end for an audience of all ages
with thoughtful choreography, moving naturally from a large choral sing, to a
soulful solo, to a catchy kids’ tune, to an inspiring teen number. "Go
Light Your World" also features Broadway hits from Hair and Godspell,
classic rock from The Allman Brothers and Coldplay, pop music from “Glee” and
Colby Collait, as well as throwbacks such as“Glow Worm” and “Would You Like to
Swing on a Star.” Tickets may be purchased in advance by visiting www.soundandspirit.net. $10 Adults / $6
students and seniors/Children under 5 are free.
