Speak Up About The Hopkinton-Westborough Bridge: Public Meeting

HOPKINTON, MA—Deemed in desperate need of repair, the Hopkinton-Westborough, which spans both the CSX Railroad and the Sudbury River, is on deck for a $12 million dollar upgrade.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is hosting a public hearing on Wednesday, May 10, to discuss the Hopkinton-Westborough Bridge replacement project.

The project, which will replace the bridge carrying Fruit Street over the Sudbury River and a MassDOT railroad track, is now at the 25 percent design stage, and MassDOT is hoping to increase public engagement in this process.

The meeting will take place in the selectmen’s chambers of Hopkinton Town Hall, Rooms 215 and 216 located at 18 Main St., in Hopkinton.
