Straight Out Of A Story Book

It's a child's fantasy come to life with a doll tea party, a dance workshop, some magic mayhem, balloons and tales an tunes.

2. DOLL TEA PARTY

WHERE/WHEN: (547 Washington St., Holliston; 508-429-5795) — Saturday, 12 p.m.

WHY GO: Tea time at the Holliston Historical Society's Asa Whiting House is something right out of a story book. Attendees will listen to an original story about a Holliston girl's life experiences in 1861 just as the Civil War was starting. Guests will be treated to tea, lemonade, tea sandwiches, and desserts. They will also make crafts and take home an educational booklet. There is even a chance to win a door prize!

WHY GO: Stories and songs for little ones from infant through age 3 1/2. A great way to make new friends.

WHY GO: This show is a huge hit with audiences of all ages! Mr. Balloon Wizard
 is a Master Balloon Twister as well as a Master Magician! He has performed all over
the globe and he's here to wow you with his unique interactive show!

WHY GO: Come in costume and celebrate Purim with the magic and humor of Matt Roberts from the PBS series Riberts and Roberts’ WonderWorld. After the show, make Purim mishloach manot (holiday baskets), learn about the Purim tradition of giving, and eat hamantaschen. For families with children ages 2 and up.
