Summer Nature and Board Walk, Waseeka, Holliston

The Conservation Associates are hosting a bird and nature walk at the Waseeka Audubon Property off Mill Street in Holliston on Saturday July 13th at 8 AM.  Dr. Donna Cohen and Naturalist Marc Connelly will lead the walk.  We should be able to watch the nesting osprey as well as see and hear a variety of other birds such as swallows, kingfishers, and great blue herons.  Last year we saw some great bird behaviors including feeding of the young and fledges flying. The parking lot is in the woods on Mill St.  It will be on the right if you are coming from the Pinecrest Golf Course in Holliston trees.  If you are coming from Hopkinton, you will pass Partridge Street on the left before coming to the parking lot, which will also on the left.

This is always a fun event!  Bring your own binoculars or spotting scopes and dress appropriately.  Closed toe shoes (shoes, sneakers, or boots) and long pants are recommended.

Call Mary Curran 508-429-5929 for more info.
