○ Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: According to the band's Facebook page, Momentum has been writing and performing together since the band formed (with a slightly different lineup) in January 2010. In that time, the band has developed a sound that can be described as raw and funk-fused, which permeates both their performances of original songs as well as their covers.
During their short touring run, the teens have covered such classics as “Paranoid” by Black Sabbath, “Communication Breakdown” by Led Zeppelin, and “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynryd Skynyrd. In addition to their covers, the band has been building a strong selection of original tunes as well.
