Toast of the Town Champagne and Chocolate Garden Party

Democratic Women to Host Champagne Event

Holliston--The women of the Holliston Democratic Town Committee are hosting their 2nd Annual Toast of the Town Champagne and Chocolate Garden Party Sunday, June 22 at 3pm in the garden of DTC Chair Beth Greely, 1038 Washington St.

The event "celebrates the women 'movers and shakers' who lead our community, and focuses on the power of women to make change" according to Greely. "Our aim is to help women meet their leadership goals, both civically and politically...while enjoying each other's company, networking, and having a good time. It's an event not to be missed...and garden party hats are encouraged!"

Two dynamic guest speakers will address the group this year: Christine Bond, Director of Education & Development and MassDOT University, and former Hollistonian Susan Shaer, a long-time political activist and former president of the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts.

Advance tickets for the event are recommended and can be purchased for $15/person from Beth Greely at 508-331-6318 or beth@yellowinc.net, or from Lisa Kaplan at 508-429-6354 or lisabbk@verizon.net. A very limited number of tickets may be available at the door.  Toast of the Town is open to the public and is a non-partisan event.
