TVL Track & Field Championships: Panther Boys Take Fourth, Girls Sixth
Cam Chisholm repeated as shot put champion to lead the Holliston boys, while Vickie Palmatier claimed the girls' shot put.

Holliston swept the shot put at the Tri-Valley League Track and Field Championships Sunday as Vickie Palmatier won the girls competition and Cam Chisholm repeated as boys champion.
Chisholm won with a heave of 45 feet, 0.5 inch to score 10 of the Holliston's 47 points. Josh Mclinden (55-meter hurdles, 8.32 seconds) and Patric Castellanos (high jump, five, feet, 10 inches) each placed second in their events as the Panthers finished fourth as a team.
Alex Greenberg (high jump, 5-10) and Evan Reseka (2-mile, 10:15.67) came in third in their events, while Trevor Alper was fourth in the 55-meter dash (7.03 seconds).

The 4x400-meter relay finished fifth in three minutes, 49.24 seconds, while Andrew Krauss (hurdles, 8.91 seconds), Zach Snow (600 meters, 1:29.07) and Ben Moody (1000, 2:43.86) each place sixth.
In the long jump, which was not scored, Alex Greenberg came in second (19-2) while Alper was sixth (17-3).

For the girls, Palmatier ruled the shot put with a throw of 36-4.5 as the Panthers placed sixth in the team competition with 18.5 points.
Kendra Costello took third in the 300-meter dash (43.65 seconds), Rachel Everett tied for fifth in the high jump (4-10) and the 4x400 was sixth (4:43.59).
Morgan McKunes placed fourth in the non-scoring long jump (13-4).
