Two Businesses Sign On for Hopkinton Square
As the Price Chopper on the corner of West Main and South street comes along, other businesses are beginning to fill the adjacent building that will be built with it.

According to , several businesses have signed contracts to fill some of the retail space that will be created as part of the Hopkinton Square Project.
Other than Price Chopper, which broke ground this fall and is expected to open in June, Western Direct Credit Union and have agreed to fill two of the seven retail locations that will be created.
Joseph said the strip mall adjacent to Price Chopper will hold a total of 30,000 square feet of commercial real estate. 15,000 of that will be made up of seven retail locations, the upstairs portion will be open for business condominiums.

"We would like to see restaurants, a coffee and/or sandwich shop, banks, a liquor store, a jewelry store, etc. on the lower floor," he said.
Joseph said he is under a non-disclosure agreement with other businesses as they negotiate leasing space in the building, but he expects more of the spaces to be filled when they open in the fall.
