Updated: Braggville Alone on Top
Steve Doney and Kevin Parnell each went 3-for-3 as Braggville defeated Dalton Road to grab first Place in the Holliston Senior Softball League's Division A.

Some games are bigger than others, and the heroics of more than one player are often required to ensure victory for the winning team.
That was the case Sunday night at , in a battle of the Holliston Senior Softball League’s lone undefeated teams. Dalton Road and Braggville both entered the evening with identical 5-0 records, and as the season entered its second half, the game promised to be worthy of its participants.
Braggville prevailed with a 9-5 victory, and but for the contributions of two Braggville veterans, the results might have been far different. Kevin Parnell and Steve Doney both delivered key clutch hits and 3-for-3 performances, and as a result, share Patch Player of the Week honors.

WHO ARE WE NO. 22 REVEALED
Yes, we look like brothers,
For that is what we are.
The dads of many daughters,
No sons (at least so far).
The elder is a Wilde guy,
You’ll see him at the gym.
The younger used to keep the clock,
While looking up to him.
We are Steve and Bob Hedrick.
CLASS OF 2012 SEEKING SENIOR AUCTION ITEMS
Got Stuff?
The Holliston High School Class of 2012 has begun the barn-bulging, shed-stuffing, cellar-cramming process of collecting donations for the Senior Class auction.
The auction, an annual event typically held on Columbus Day, is devoted to raising funds to help reduce costs for many of the senior class activities.
It is this ancient reporter’s belief that the auction began in the early 70’s. I well remember my great contribution to the 1973 auction, when I helped deliver unsold used televisions from the location to the Marshall Street dump. It was there that I and some fellow classmates practiced our best Louis Tiant windups, and delivered some hard stone servings to the face of those fading Philcos. Ah, the joys of delinquency.
Those looking to donate items should call 508-429-0677, ext. 5590 or send an email to hhsauction@gmail.com.
