Uxbridge Officer Suspended Following OUI in Hopkinton
An Uxbridge officer was arrested on OUI charges on Sunday.
An Uxbridge police officer is facing OUI charges after getting pulled over in Hopkinton on Sunday.
Peter M. Bates, Jr., 33, of Londonderry Way, Uxbridge was pulled over by Officer William Burchard at 8:19 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, in Hopkinton, according to the arrest log posted on Hopkinton News.He was charged with OUI liquor, marked lanes violation and drinking alcohol from an open container.
Hopkinton police confirmed the arrest.

Bates, Jr., has been suspended without pay, said Uxbridge police.
