Next Saturday, May 3rd, the Holliston Conservation Associates hosts our annual Vernal Pool Walk at 10:00 AM at the Daniels' Conservation Area across from Holliston High School on Hollis Street. Marc Connelly will explain the characteristics of vernal pools and show us some of the creatures who live there. This is a wonderful, hands-on program for children and interesting for adults too! Dress appropriately for the weather; boots are helpful but not necessary. Park at the High School and walk across the street. The vernal pool is a short walk into the property.
All are invited and the program is free.
