What We Learned on Patch This Week
Each Saturday, Patch reviews the most important stories over the past week. Here's the rundown for Sept. 17-23.
Welcome to "What We Learned This Week," a recap of the top stories in town over the last seven days.
This week, Patch readers were eager to read about the town's defeat in an appeals court battle over a controversial 40B that dates back to the middle part of the last decade, followed the latest developments in the approval process of what could become the town's first commercial-sized solar project, and watched as people paddled into the history books in the Celebrate Holliston canoe races. And usual, readers kept up on the latest police news.

Stay tuned.

3. We learned .... another reason to be proud. Victoria Zeamer's latest success--t--is just one of many. VZeamer is a Wellesley College freshman who won the MetroWest Women's Alliance's art contest, which meant she was honored at the first on Tuesday.

4. We learned ... the police handle a, well, variety, of calls. The logs are regularly among the most visited stories on Holliston Patch and one reason why may be they barely contain the same thing twice. This week's logstopped by a car fire and one in .
5. We learned ... plenty. Celebrate Holliston made more than its share of headlines this week. Our as a backdrop and some (not really) controversy in the first race of the day. This week brought news of the Glow Ball Tournament being canceled and also the painful decision to to Oct. 1.
