A winter storm is headed our way and may drop some snow on the area on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service is predicting snow on Wednesday, and as much as 2 inches is predicted for the area.

The storm should start as rain Wednesday morning and then switch over to snow for the rest of the day and night. The snow should stop overnight, according to the National Weather Service, and up to 2 inches could accumulate in the area.

There is a chance of snow showers on Thanksgiving morning, but there isn’t any measurable snow expected on Thursday.
