The Holliston Historical Society will be hosting a program “On Writing A Memoir” at 7:30 pm at the Asa Whiting House, 547 Washington Street, Holliston, MA.
Mr. Thatcher Freund will discuss the value of writing down the stories of our lives and how valuable these become for those who follow us The Society archive collection has many memoirs written by Holliston residents. The art of writing a memoirs is a long standing literary genre that tells more than a personal story- it also tells of the times in which we live. Mr. Freund will talk about how to approach the writing of one’s life story, what is important and how to best approach the subject.
All are invited and refreshments will be served.
