Of course I had heard it before but never understood the depth of this saying. It really hit home the other day when I was like Aha, that’s what people mean by it. Sleep deprived and exhausted from months of planning to kick-start my own yoga studio, I felt like a new parent. The symptoms were acutely similar: sleepless, exhausted, consumed by it and yes, loving it!
So, why do people do such things, I mean having a baby or starting their own business----biological need or a crazy spur of the moment decision or something you always wanted to do? I don’t know the answer to it but all I know is that either ways, you and your life are changed for ever. I know now that my Yoga and Meditation Studio is like my third child and I am loving it! A strange coincidence is that Sohum was born on the same day as my first- born. Sohum opened its doors on Aug 12, 2013, same day when my son turned 12. A very happy and blessed day, indeed!
