Two arrested after mall break-in in Holyoke (newportdispatch.com) ā Two suspects were arrested and two remain at large after an early-morning break-in at Holyoke Mall, where police responded to an alarm and caught part of the group fleeing. Holyoke officers charged two young men from Rowe and Greenfield with nighttime breaking and entering, larceny, and property defacement, while the Criminal Investigation Bureau continues to search for the remaining suspects.

Holyoke one of several Mass. towns awarded downtown housing grants (westernmassnews.com) ā More than $1.6 million in state grants is coming directly to Holyoke to support downtown housing and local businesses, with ten awards secured through the stateās One Stop for Growth program.
