2 Killed, 1 Wounded in Jamaica Plain Shooting

The shooting took place in the neighborhood's Egleston Square at Bragdon and Ernst Streets.


Two men were killed and a second was wounded in a shooting Monday night on the Roxbury-Jamaica Plain line.

According to reports, the shooting took place around 10:15 p.m. in the neighborhood’s Egleston Square at Bragdon and Ernst Streets.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found two men, both in there 20s, suffering from gunshot wounds. The men were transported to Boston Medical Center where they were pronounced dead.

Three hours later, police say a third victim came forward to police, alerting them of his injuries. The victim was transported to with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation at this time. Investigators roped off the area in crime tape. A suspect has not been identified.
