5th annual JP Music Festival line-up on Saturday, September 12, 2015
JP Music Festival returns for 5th annual event on Saturday, September 12, 2015 with 20+ acts, 2 stages, and 7 hours of non-stop music.

The free, 5th annual JP Music Festival will be held at Pinebank Field at Jamaica Pond on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 12–7 PM. RSVP to the event on Facebook.
The JP Music Festival features musicians, bands, group, or ensemble members who either live or work in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood. The festival will have two stages, with continuous music from 20+ acts and bands.
This year, the JP Music Festival has invited several of Jamaica Plain’s most valued cultural organizations to perform, including The Footlight Club, Hyde Square Task Force, and Tony Williams’ Dance Center, helping to celebrate all that JP has to offer in the arts.

Six area recording studios have generously donated one day of recording time to JP Music Festival performers who will be chosen at random, including Bitch Kitty Studios, Darron Burke, Dimension Sound Studios, Machine Gun Studios, ZDZ Demo Studio, and Zippah Recording.
This year, the festival will also feature music educators with booths offering music activities, including the Children’s Music Center of Jamaica Plain, Hyde Square Task Force, Playworks Boston, and Jaymz Purtle.
Food trucks and vendors will be available, including The Bacon Truck, Bukhara Indian Bistro, JP Licks, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, and Taco Party.
In September, Stage Sponsor J.P. Licks will again be selling the Official Ice Cream Flavor of the JP Music Festival at all locations called, “Squirrel Nut Zipple.”
This year’s top funders of the JP Music Festival are:

The JP Music Festival also received a grant from the City of Boston’s Boston Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council for its 2015 festival.
