The child found the discarded needle while at Boston's Iacono playground.

A seven-year-old girl attending tennis camp at Boston’s Iacono playground was pricked by a stray syringe on Friday, WCVB reports.

Cadence Epstein says she pricked herself on the needle after a friend picked it up and tossed it to her.

Epstein’s parents rushed her to the hospital for the treatment. As a precaution, Epstein received medicine used to treat HIV.
