Armed Robbers Assaulted People Near Stony Brook T Station

Jamaica Plain Police are investigating.

Robbers with handguns assaulted two people near the Stony Brook T Station recently.

According to a warning from the Boston Police Department, the incidents occurred on Wednesday, Dec. 10 around 9:20 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 11 around 10 p.m.

The Jamaica Plain Gazette reported that one victim was robbed, and the other incident was an attempted robbery, according to Jamaica Plain’s E-13 Police Station Community Service Office. In both cases, the victims were walking home from the Stony Brook T Station at Boylston and Lamartine streets.

E-13 detectives are investigating. Anyone with information about the crimes can contact them at 617-343-5628 or anonymously by calling 1-800-494-8477 or by texting the word “TIP” to 27463.
