Baby Jesus Statue Stolen From a Nativity Scene, Replaced With a Real Pig's Head

Haverhill, Massachusetts Police asking for the public's help.

Police in Haverhill, Massachusetts, are asking for the public’s help in their investigation after they say a baby Jesus statue was stolen from a Nativity scene at Sacred Heart Church and replaced with a real pig’s head on Christmas morning. The crèche can be seen from South Main Street in Haverhill.

Haverhill Police released a picture of the pig’s head on Friday, which “appeared to be freshly decapitated,” according to an investigator.

The vandalism was discovered early Christmas morning, according to authorities. Police are interested in speaking with anyone with knowledge of the incident, or anyone who may have witnessed the crime.
