Blake Whitney joins Hammond Residential Real Estate Chestnut Hill Office

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (October 22, 2014) - Jim Nemetz, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Chestnut Hill and Waban offices, is pleased to announce that Blake Whitney has affiliated with Hammond. In her new role, Blake will collaborate with buyer and seller clients from Hammond’s Chestnut Hill office located at 826 Boylston Street.

Born in the Boston area, Blake is a longtime Brookline resident. She studied arts management, theatre and music at The College of Charleston and went on to earn a Master of Music Theatre from the Boston Conservatory. Blake is an active member of The Vincent Club in connection with the Vincent Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she engages in numerous fundraising activities, including performing in various musical cabarets. In her spare time, Blake enjoys playing tennis, skiing, cooking, and attending the theatre and Pure Barre classes, in addition to spending time with her family and Welsh terrier.

Prior to her career in real estate, Blake worked in event planning and development for non-profits. As a Hammond agent, she looks forward to working in partnership with her mother, Vicky Whitney, to provide outstanding attention to detail and customer service to her clients. Her background in sales and project management, along with her experience working in musical theater and studio management, complement this mother-daughter team in helping buyers and sellers achieve their goals. Blake is focused, friendly, and eager to facilitate all phases of a real estate transaction for her clients.
