Boston Bikes Presents Second Mom & Kid Ride on July 19th

Free Ride to Take Place Saturday, July 19th Along Boston’s Southwest Corridor

Boston Bikes’ new women’s bike initiative is pleased to present its2nd Mom & Kid Ride of the season, taking place on Saturday, July 19th, along the Southwest Corridor. Check in is at 11 AM and the ride kicks off at noon. Mothers and children are invited to enjoy a short ride on paths, plus bike decorating, face painting, free ice cream and a picnic at the ride’s conclusion, with food for purchase. Kids must be accompanied by a parent and on bikes without training wheels, or ride with parents in a trailer or bike seat.

This ride is one of many events, biking socials, and clinics being organized by the new women’s bike initiative by Boston Bikes, with the goal of spreading the joy and benefits of biking in Boston and encouraging more women to take to the streets by bike. Don’t miss out on the hallmark women’s event of the year on August 16th at Millennium Park in Boston: New England’s first ever all women’s bike ride and festival. This will feature a women’s only ride, workshops, music, food, kid events and more.
