Hearing is on Monday at City Hall at 5:30 p.m. and members of the public are wanted to testify. Contact City Councilor Arroyo's office at 617-635-4205.

Idling buses are a problem across the city. And come Monday, after regular work hours, you're welcome to testify about idling buses.
The Boston City Council Committee on Asthma and the Committee on City and Neighborhood Services are holding a joint hearing to "examine idling commercial and tour buses."
City Councilor At-Large Felix Arroyo, who lives in JP, and District 1 City Councilor Salvatore LaMattina sponsored the hearing to discuss with City officials what laws and regulations currently exist for bus idling. The hearing will explore further actions that could be taken to "eliminate unnecessary bus idling, and which agencies have jurisdiction over bus idling."
