Boston Police Investigate Fatal Independence Day Shooting
One man was killed Saturday night around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Holborn and Glenburne streets.

Police in Boston are investigating an Independence Day shooting which left one man dead in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood.
Officers were sent to the intersection of Holborn and Glenburne streets after learning of reports of a shooting around 11p.m. Saturday evening.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found two male victims, both said to be their 20s, suffering from gunshot wounds.

50 officers in total were dispatched to the scene, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans told The Boston Globe.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police say. The other man was transported for treatment with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not identified the victims or any suspects of interest.
