Boston Police Officer Hit In JP By Driver Going Wrong Way
An officer was hit by a car going the wrong way.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA — A police officer on duty in Jamaica Plain was hit by wrong-way driver near the intersection of Forest Hills and Morton streets in JP Saturday morning, according to Boston police spokesman Officer Stephen McNulty.
McNulty said the officer was turning left on a green light from the Arborway and was hit by another car traveling outbound on the inbound side of the Arborway just after 2:30 a.m.
The car that was driving the wrong-way hit the driver’s side corner and front door of the officer’s cruiser. Neither the driver nor the officer was injured, though both cars were towed after the crash.

The officer was taken for medical evaluation as a precaution but was released and returned to duty. The driver of the other vehicle refused medical treatment. Police gave that person a ticket for driving the wrong way on a one way, McNulty said.
