Boston Police Officer Ready to Forgive Braintree Man Who Shot at Him
A Boston police officer said he is willing to forgive a man that tried to shoot him.

A Boston police officer involved in a July 2013 shooting recently said he is ready to forgive the Braintree man that shot a bullet at him.
The officer, whose name has not been released, said in a statement read in Suffolk County Superior Court on Tuesday, that “I’m willing to personally forgive,” the man who tried to kill him according to NECN.

Last year, suspected drug dealer Paul Eric Louis-Jeune, of Braintree, was being chased by police when he shot his gun at officers 10 feet away. Louis-Jeune was then hit with a bullet shot by another officer.
Louis-Jeune pleaded guilty to multiple charges including armed assault with intent to murder and was sentenced to up to eight years in prison.
