After receiving over 20,000 name suggestions from folks across the City, the Boston Police Department announced their new K-9 puppy will be called Viggo.The department unveiled the name of its newest fury friend on Friday morning.Viggo, a nine-week-old Belgian Shephard, will be trained for patrol and explosive ordinance detection.Police Commissioner William Evans announced the news alongside the department's head K-9 trainer and Junior Police Academy.Cannon, Clink, Hero, Kevlar, Kojack, Tango, Titus, Rocco, and Tuukka, were the other names the department considered.
