"T: An MBTA Musical" Arrives at OBERON

"T" An MBTA Musical is returning at OBERON, opening 10:30 Friday night. A little information on the show . . .

After winning Broadwayworld Boston’s Best Fringe Musical 2011 and selling out 12 consecutive shows last summer, “T: An MBTA Musical” is coming to OBERON in Harvard Square for a limited engagement!  The show will run Fridays at 10:30 pm, opening June 8.  Tickets are now available at the OBERON website: www.cluboberon.com/events/t-mbta-musical.

“T” is part love story, part melodrama, part scavenger hunt, mostly underground.  It follows the journey of three disgruntled 20-somethings whose lives have been derailed by the MBTA’s shortcomings.  Together, they set forth on a colorful journey that will surely serve as a catharsis for anyone who's ever felt screwed by the system.

The show, now in two acts, includes new songs to join last year's favorites like "The Shuttle Bus Song (We Can't Handle It)," "The T Within" and "The Bro Song."  To put the perfect cap on the evening, the staff will also be serving T-themed drinks like "The Express Train."
